The EPA Vertical Bike Rack has been designed and tested by a team of engineers and by Ebike Parts and Accessories (EPA), a company active in the electric bike accessories industry since 2016, running e-MTB tours across Australia and Europe.
The experience gained from these tours—especially over harsh Australian terrains with heavy e-bikes—provided valuable technical insight into developing a vertical bike carrier that can withstand even the most extreme conditions.
The EPA Vertical Bike Rack with a total load capacity of 150 kg — or up to 25 kg per bicycle — this rack is both strong and practical. It allows for fast and easy loading and unloading, giving you more time to enjoy your ride.
The EPA Vertical Bike Rack mounts directly to the tow ball of your vehicle and is one of the strongest and most durable bike racks on the market. It is also fully EU-approved.
The EPA Vertical Bike Rack is designed to carry all types of bicycles, including conventional bikes, electric mountain bikes, bikes with modern geometries, touring bikes, cross-country bikes, road bikes, children’s bikes, and fat-bikes (with optional accessories).
A key feature of the design is that it prevents bicycles from touching each other during transport, helping to avoid scratches, rubbing, and frame damage. Each bicycle can be securely fastened using an individual rubber tie-down strap, ensuring stability during transport. The integrated automatic retractable ratchet strap system allows the rack to tilt effortlessly and safely, providing both ease of use and reliable bike support.
The entire structure has been rigorously tested for strength and fatigue resistance. These tests guided the design and helped determine the size and thickness of the steel tubing used.

COMPATIBILITY
The EPA Vertical Bike Rack is engineered for universal vehicle compatibility and can be installed on virtually any vehicle type — including cars, SUVs, vans, minibuses, and 4x4 off-road vehicles.
It features multiple inclination settings to suit different rear door angles, allowing the rack to align seamlessly with the vehicle’s shape for improved aerodynamics. For vehicles with flat rear ends, the rack can be set to a fully vertical position.
A distance adjustment system enables the rack to move closer to or farther from the vehicle’s rear — ideal for vehicles with rear-mounted spare wheels. Additionally, the rack can recline fully to the ground, allowing easy access to the trunk or tailgate without needing to remove the bikes.
All EPA Vertical Bike Rack models are optimized for use with e-bikes, Enduro bikes, and DH bikes, while also adapting to virtually any bike type and size.
